Patrick Kelly, owner of Kelly Masonry & Design, Inc., is an independent natural stone masonry contractor with more than a decade of experience.

As the creative mind and force of Kelly Masonry & Design, Inc., Patrick transforms various types of stone into beautiful artistic veneers, walls, patios, and various functional stone creations.

Patrick's stonework is unique in its texture and style, drawing its inspiration from concepts he works on directly in coordination with his clients. His collegiate studies focused on the profession of Landscape Architecture. Patrick attended SUNY Environmental Science & Forestry at Syracuse where he obtained a Bachelor of Landscape Architecture and a Masters of Landscape Architecture. The foundation of his professional preparation which leads to licensure, included computer design, multiple design studios, history of the Landscape Architecture profession, construction documentation, and an off-campus project which placed Patrick in Seville, Spain for five months of independent study.

Patrick's professional career started in Fairfield County, Connecticut where he worked as a Landscape Architectural Associate for a private high-end firm with a concentration on residential landscapes, pool design, retaining walls, and municipal landscape designs. This experience afforded him a wealth of experience within the profession with a concentration on residential design and stonework projects. One of Patrick's proudest contributions to the stonework profession can be see at the Bethel Woods Center for the Arts located at the original site of the 1969 Woodstock Festival in Bethel, NY., where he worked with a team of masons to bring the vision of owner, Alan Gerry, to life. Mr. Kelly has worked on sites varying in size from small yards to large residential estates and commercial projects. His work has been featured in such local publications as the Sullivan County Democrat, The River Reporter, and the Times Herald Record.

Although a longtime resident of Sullivan County, Patrick continues to design and build various stone projects within and beyond the borders of Sullivan County. Patrick covers various aspects of stonework, whether it is a custom fireplace, patio, sculpture, stonewall, pier, restoration of historic stonewalls or building veneers, his love and affinity to this natural element stands apart from all others in his field.

By combining landscape and horticultural knowledge, talent for natural stone masonry, aesthetic sensitivity, artistic ability, and 7 years of academic schooling and 4 years of professional Landscape Architectural experience, Mr. Kelly attributes Kelly Masonry & Design’s success to repeat business and referrals from current and past clients.
